Privacy Policy
1. Data Controller
Quicksand Cyber Defense Zrt. (company reg. no. 01-10-143708), Hungary, operates this Partner Portal. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact info@quicksand.hu.
2. What we process
Partner applications (the company and contact details sent with the “Become a partner” form), partner account data (name, business e-mail, company, role), authentication data (password hash, MFA secret, SSO identifier), CRM records you enter (leads, contacts, customers, activities), and licensing / deployment data for your installations. We do not sell personal data.
3. Purpose & legal basis
We process the above to operate the partner relationship, provision and license products, and provide support — on the basis of performance of our contract with your organisation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in running the partner programme (Art. 6(1)(f)). SSO classification (internal/external partner) is used solely for access control.
4. Retention
Account and CRM data are kept for the duration of the partnership and deleted or anonymised afterwards, except where a longer period is legally required. Documents marked as a contract or announcement, and accounting records (invoices), are retained for 8 years as required by the Hungarian Accounting Act (Act C of 2000, §169) and may only be archived during that period.
5. Recipients
Data is hosted on servers we operate in a data centre in Budapest, Hungary (EU). Our processors receive only what is strictly necessary: Brevo (transactional e-mail delivery, EU) and Microsoft 365 (our business mailboxes, and fallback e-mail delivery). Identity providers you connect for sign-in receive what the sign-in requires. No transfer outside the EEA takes place without an adequate safeguard.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may lodge a complaint with the Hungarian supervisory authority (NAIH, naih.hu).
